The Children's Ministries Director at Three Rivers Baptist Church leads the ministry for children from birth through 6th grade, overseeing discipleship, weekly instruction, curriculum selection, and programs such as Sunday School, mid-week gatherings, outreach, VBS, and summer activities in alignment with the church's Reformed, evangelical, baptistic theology. Reporting to the Lead Pastor and under the Elders' spiritual oversight, the Director manages the ministry budget, leads the Children's Ministry Team, equips volunteers with background checks and safety training, ensures child safety compliance, communicates with parents, and coordinates with the Nursery Director, Youth Director, and other teams. Candidates must have a vital relationship with Christ, faithful church involvement, substantial experience with children, strong leadership and organizational skills, current child safety certifications, and full agreement with the church's statement of faith and core values; a related college degree is preferred but equivalent experience is acceptable.
