At Three Rivers Baptist Church, our ministry to young adults targets men and women from the ages of 18-25.  Many are full time college students; others are working full time; all desire to honor the Lord through their lives and to grow in Christ through the study of God’s word, through fellowship and prayer.  We meet together as a class on Sunday mornings at 9:00 for Sunday School where we interact over a specific book of the Bible.  We also get together every Sunday evening for small group at which time we spend time fellowshipping, praying and studying books pertinent to where we are in life as young adults.  Every Spring we head to Edisto Beach together for our annual Spring Retreat where we spend three days receiving quality teaching from God’s Word.  In the Fall we go up to the mountains of North Carolina or Georgia for our annual Fall Retreat where we once again immerse ourselves in God’s Word. On the second Thursday of each month we spend time praying together as men and women in gender-separate groups.  Twice a month our ladies meet for a time of Bible study and prayer. Once a month we get together as a group for a time of fun and fellowship.  In all we do we seek to spur one another on to love and good deeds and to glorify God – praying for one another as the Apostle Paul did for the church at Colossae – that we would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, please Him in all respects, bear fruit in every good work and increase in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10).
